the Fish and Chippy
On Friday, May 5th and Saturday, May 6th, the Fish & Chippy will celebrate the coronation of His Royal Highness King Charles III. Regardless of how you feel about Charles, or Camilla, or even Harry and Meghan – the Fish & Chippy says their two-day celebration of the new King’s reign promises to keep the monarchy and its traditions alive. Starting at 11 am on Friday, May 5th, a special, limited edition British-style cask ale by local brewery Edmund’s Oast will be served while supplies last. Plus, a permanent menu addition created in honor of King Charles will be unveiled. For the two-day celebration, the restaurant will expand its shaded outdoor seating. Cornhole and other party games will be available, or guests can try their hand at the UK-style “hammer and nail” game (first one to hammer the nail into the stump, wins). In addition, a full order of traditional fish and chips with a pint of cask ale will get you a free Fish & Chippy koozie. Attendees can also enjoy live music from RotieMusic on Saturday from 11:30 am to 2:30 pm. The Fish & Chippy is open Tuesday through Saturday from 11 am to 8 pm.
